This series explores duality—night and day, moon and sun, introspection and vitality. Framed by open windows, each reclining figure becomes a vessel for light and elemental symbols: the dove, the sun, the sea, and vegetation. Through radiant color and symbolic composition, Stubbe invites us into a contemplative space where the passage of time is felt through the body, nature, and the shifting light of the Caribbean.
